My female Bichon Frise, Princess, is looking for her
"forever" home. Princess is 4 years old and registered with AKC. She has some wonderful bloodlines. She has had two litters of pups, but had difficulties both times. I'm selling her as a pet, so she will need to be spayed. She is absolutely beautiful, weighs only 10 pounds, and is extremely loving and playful. She is housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and enjoys kids. She needs to be a housedog, but she does enjoy being outdoors to play. She is not accustomed to running loose. She is usually on a leash or in a fenced in area. This is a great opportunity for someone to have a beautiful Bichon without going through the "puppy" days.     My male Bichon Frise, Punky, is also looking for a special "forever" home. He is three years old and AKC registered. He is smaller than average- almost nine inches. He has been a good breeding dog, but the female has to be close to his size. Punky is a very shy dog. I rescued him from a "bad" kennel situation when he was ten months old. He had not been handled and was very dirty. I think this lack of handling, plus any bad experiences he had had has made him unsure and afraid. Even though he has lived in my home, he is still very timid. He is more secure with another dog as a friend. He will not come to a person readily, because he is so unsure. However, when I gently approach him, he will go to the corner or wall and lay down. Then he is easily picked up and handled. He is even very easy to groom. He is just afraid to come to someone. I've spent a lot of time trying to gain his confidence. He is much better than he was, but he needs someone to give him that special attention. I want him to have a loving home, but it will definitely take a loving, patient person for him. He needs to be an indoor dog, during the winter, if possible.
